Taison Group, based in Shanghai, China, is a large comprehensive international group enterprise integrating forestry, pulp-making, plastic packaging, timber processing, real estate and trading.
At WR Fibers, our most valuable resources are our employees, with their diverse backgrounds, experiences and ideas. Everyone is involved in our company’s progress, that’s why we are dedicated to keep an open and friendly culture where everyone can learn, grow and succeed. We value passion, integrity, teamwork, accountability, and the firm commitment to take care of customers, business associates, and ultimately each other. Not because it makes business sense, but because it’s just the right thing to do.
From developing bamboo plantations that provide sustenance to poor rural economies, to creating opportunities for the reutilization of recycled papers, plastics and metals, we place responsibility at the forefront of any business decision we make.
In 1987, the United Nations Brundtland Commission defined sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” According to this principle, we support the fight against illegal logging and prohibit the trading of illegally harvested forest products. We do not knowingly accept fiber from improperly managed forests where poor practices go against standard conservation values. Our bamboo pulp is harvested in approved areas and is produced in our FSC certified mills in China. Our tissue paper is made with a minimum bamboo pulp content of 70% so that more trees can be saved for current and future generations.
